How Did People Unplug in 2011?

Here are some samples of how people reported on how they unplugged.

  • My husband and I enjoyed the day by going for a walk, reading and cooking together! Unplugged was a great reminder to step back from technology and enjoy time with one another.
  • Toured the Royal Alberta Museum for the first time with the kids. It was interesting to see their reactions and hear their questions. After that we played several different card and board games at home. As well as having a nice sit down dinner. It was a great FAMILY day.
  • As a family we prepared and ate all our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at home! It was awesome. In between meal prep we each cleaned a zone in the house and went swimming. At the end of the day, we sat in front of the fireplace and chilled! WOW! Couldn't have dreamed a better day.
  • We played board games with our kids, baked some cookies and had a family dinner together. It was a fantastic day!
